I was able to push myself out. Took some practice this is my first rodeo so im pretty slow in it so far :D

Edit, here is a close up of the remote. It feels like they just took something off another tractor - the handle in the cab is different as well. If this is normal then whatever, but I'm not going to pay for an upgrade I didnt get (3rd remote)

Glad to hear that it seems like I didn't get completely ripped off. I got estimates for WM75 (51k), Powerstar75 (59k), M4D-071 (70k lol), 2 other 4707 estimates (65k & 60k both without dyna2). I also got an estimate for a 3039r much earlier in the process for 46k. But after seeing a 5075e in person I kind of wrote off team green in the 75hp category.

As a first time tractor owner I am really attracted to the brake to neutral feature of the dyna 2, makes it easy to know I can always just hit the brakes to stop. Other considerations that tipped the scales to the 4707 was the weight, size of cab, push button clutch (vs workmaster and powerstar). Overall features seemed to be better or equivalent to the competition.

You're right Cal, the price for purely snow removal is extremely high. I'm not sure what it would cost me to hire someone to come snowblow my driveway, the real problem is it often needs to be done even if it didn't snow - the wind can blow my driveway closed just as easily. I bought a 3/4 ton with a plow when I moved here and it got completely overwhelmed. I can't really put a value on knowing I can get myself out of the snow going forward. It's a terrible feeling living in the country and getting your truck stuck with no recovery option, thank goodness for nice neighbors.

I'll post pictures when it gets delivered. Currently I am having them hold onto it for a while until my garage/shop is built. Hopefully not more than 2 months. For now, you can get some pictures of my hellscape from this past winter, give you an idea of what I was dealing with.
Why have them hold onto it? Probably sitting outside anyway.

New valves usually come without paint. It does not take long to get surface rust like that. The only answer is to take it off, clean and paint it then put it all back together. Some people just don’t worry about it. It is up to you.

Nice tractor though! Hate you got stuck but at least you were able to get it out.

The original idea was to eliminate some risk. If it gets messed up before I get it delivered then I imagine it's on them. Sadly the garage is taking longer than I thought it would and I have projects I want to get started now that the pasture is not a swamp.

Spray some Fluid Film on it. That'll make it look new again. And keep the rust at bay.

You've had it stuck... that means it's officially broken in. 👍 Nice tractor, it should give you many years of service. If it was mine I'd clean that valve up and paint it. It won't matter in the overall scheme of things yet is one of those niggling things that doesn't seem quite right.

I had promised some of yall pictures when it came in. Well its here, and I got it stuck within 15 minutes. Might be a record. Anyone know why the 3rd remote on the back is so rusted? Did they try to give me some used remote or something? I have an outstanding balance of like 2k from the block heater and remote install, but I certainly don't want to pay full price for a used rusted remote.
Yup, it's broke in now.
I can say I have been almost identical to that before and each time was ever so thankful for the locking rear diff bailing me out.

BTW, I called Brunos last week looking for LS 73hp tractor and since he said he had no idea when he would get one, I asked about the Massey. Quoted me $58,000 for base model. So with extra remote etc., I'd say you did good.

Wire wheel/sand as needed. then buy a POR15 starter kit, which comes with everything you need to prep and coat that valve, and a lot more.

If you don't know about POR15, it is a 2 part coating that when cures, will never crack, chip or peel, and the more moist the environment (just humidity), the better. You can buy it in only a few colors, but it can be painted once cured, if you want something other then the available color.
POR15
