The diode trio and the built in regulator in the alternator would probably be a good start, the main fuse, what ever it is for that model of tractor, My Kioti is an inline 60 amp. Workshop manual is gonna be a must.. You need a good schematic, and and good multimeter, and know how to use both. Good luck.

Ahhh crap....a new alternator is $260,

Ahhh crap....a new alternator is $260,

a descent alternator /starter repair shop can probably fix it for half the cost of new. unfortunately you don't need to worry about the alternator until you can get the rest of it working

Ahhh crap....a new alternator is $260,

Take the Alternator/integral regulator in to the auto parts store and have it tested, and yes they can be rebuilt.

G'day no lights on the dash makes me think a fusible link gone I know they will allow power flow both ways but I have seen them blow with reverse fitment of cables and they have saved the rest of the system. Start by getting power to the dash and go from there, globes are not polarity sensitive so they are not getting power for some reason so start with that and see how you go, oh and BTW :welcome: to TBN.

Alright fellas, I appreciate all of the responses. They have been helpful in providing a starting point for me. That said, I think I'm on to something. I began tracing the start-run circuit this evening with my multimeter and noticed a 30amp fuse that was rattling when I removed it. I don't want to jinx myself but I think this may be the problem.

You may have won the prize if the fuse you're referring to looks like the one pictured in my last post!
