My only culpability in that was letting them put me to sleep this time. Last time I was awake and more or less alert (as they removed my knee replacement and put in the spacer) and when I heard them drop an instrument, I said (maybe too loudly) "WHOOPS! i hope we don't still need that! which is why I think he made them put me out this time.

Amen. And confession (on this site) is good for the tractoring soul.

If only as a cautionary tale for others... it's a way of looking out for eachother, even if we'll never physically meet.

Yeah, hopefully we can be smart enough to learn vicariously without having to repeat each others' mistakes once they ar shared.
