Well I hesitate again to mention this, my original battery in the 2004 Century 2535 is still going strong 16 years later. Lucky? You bet! Or maybe I am the blind hog that found the acorn!
What I do use is a battery tender periodically, especially in cooler weather when the tractor may sit for a few days. The desulfonate feature certainly does help extend the life of this battery. But if it goes bad tomorrow, I have no grounds for a complaint. And now I do have useful information for a replacement.
I wish all batteries and tractors were manufactured that well. W. Jones
