I Changed the Battery in My 3510 Today

Well I hesitate again to mention this, my original battery in the 2004 Century 2535 is still going strong 16 years later. Lucky? You bet! Or maybe I am the blind hog that found the acorn!

What I do use is a battery tender periodically, especially in cooler weather when the tractor may sit for a few days. The desulfonate feature certainly does help extend the life of this battery. But if it goes bad tomorrow, I have no grounds for a complaint. And now I do have useful information for a replacement.

I wish all batteries and tractors were manufactured that well. W. Jones

So how do you like your 3510 after 15 years of use?

I STILL LOVE IT!
When I bought it I only had 2 acres and didn't have much work to do with it.
5 years ago I bought 10 acres and the tractor is perfect for my property now.
I had bought a Jinma Backhoe and used it for about 8 years on the tractor but a couple years I bought a new Hoe and it is much better. I had to make a subframe for both of the hoes. I have dug several drain fields and many water and electrical trenches (I made a 6" bucket for them) and even helped a neighbor bury her horse.
My only complaint would be the Shuttle Shift, it is not smooth and sometimes I miss a shift.

That is cool and it still looks great! You have done an excellent job taking care of that dude!

I have only had my Branson for 10 months and I love it as well. The shuttle shift is good on this one yet. We will see in 15 years what it is like. :laughing:
