The hydrostatic unit in my Ford 1620 is made by KYB and is model HVFD 23c-23m. The model number was on the tag when I split the tractor to fix a leak.
Anyone know the KYB model number that’s in the TC series ( not the Ford part number)?

Big thanks for taking the time to help me. I’m surprised the TC uses the same KYB hydrostatic unit. Though maybe they used a different KYB model on the TC tractors and that would give me more replacement options for my 1620.
Thanks again.

I am watching this hoping more get added. My 1995 build 1520 is also a KYB model HVFD-23c23-m.

I haven't had the opportunity to see what is in my 2010 T1520, yet. What I do know is that it feels considerably different than my 1520. I mow some fairly steep hills with the 1520 while sometimes pulling a pto operated grass/leaf collector and trailer. The 1520 will continue moving, in medium range, just as long as the motor doesn't bog down. The T1520 will start to stall out requiring shifting to low range much sooner with less load and 10 more hp. That extra 10 hp also just about exactly doubles fuel consumption.
