jinma 354
hello gents/ladies

i have a jinma 354, 2004, i was plowing show the other night and the 3pt stopped working as well as the tilt on the FEL, the main up and down work but not hte bucket tilt, so i pulled it in my heated garage and tried it the next day. still the same, changed filter, still the same, fluid is good, but do notice that it has a foamy consistency to it, water possibly? if thats the case would this be causing the problem with the bucket tilt and the 3pt? i can lift the 3pt arms by hand, and the arms fall right back down. should i change the oil and if so where would i drain it from?...i can't see a drain on the reservoir under the seat. any suggestions would be appreciated in advance

thanks

It sounds to me like there is debris in the loader valve stack preventing the load check from closing. Changing oil and/or filter won't fix it, imho.
The oil sounds like it is aerated. Do you usually park it outside in the weather?

Yes it sit outside all the time, its 2007 jinma not 04, so i changed oil, no luck! Took the FEL out of the picture, hooked the two quick connects together and still nothing happening to the 3PH, i have oil to the up and down valve for the three piont hitch, im thinking something in that valve is open does that make since? Or closed?

Sense you leave it outside uncovered I wouldn't be surprised if there was water in your hydrolic oil.
Please reread my above post about your hydrolic control valve.

So i tore the valve apart and found a piece of what appear to be casting under a valve seat, so the 3 ph works great but........im still hVing a problem with the FEL tilting the bucket, could it be air locked or could there be some valve sticking because it want to curl up, as in it moves slightly, and it return, like about a 1/2 ", and thats it, and one other thing thats been going on for some time is the FEL slowly starts coming down if it raised, it will take 5 minutes to go down 3 ', assuming something is leaking by but i dont know where to start

Well, that piece of "casting" also went through your hydrolik pump and lodged in a valve seat. I will speculate that there is more where that came from. Better check the suction screen to see if there's holes in it. Chances are that your hydrolik control valve is whacked because of the debris that's been passing through it. Lucky the pump and coupling still survive. Suggest you thoroughly clean your FEL control valve assembly. Make sure when you disassemble the relief valve that you count the turns on the screw so you can reassemble it correctly.
