Hydrolic fitting/Quick connect on a Jima

I noticed a leak on one of the extra fittings in the back that goes to an accesory. It doesnt appear to be a bad leak but im sure its only going to get worse. Is this a hard fix? Also is there a book or site that has the schematic layout of all the fill and drain holes on a 204LE Jinma? Sorry for all the questions but im new to tractor ownership. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just like tightening a nut on a bolt. You should be able to stop that drip with two wrenches.

No such luck on a map of the drain&fill points, none that I'm aware of anyway. Isn't your dealer any help?

Thank you Greg. I wanted to make sure before I started monkeying with it. No no dealer support. I bought the last one the guy had and he went out of biz. He was very upfront about it.

ebbtide, I have the FarmPro 2430 (30 hp Jinma). The quick connect on the back for the power outlet would drip slowly, could not get it to stop. I got a male fitting for the quick connect that was threaded for a 1/2 " pipe thread and put a pipe plug in it and plugged it into the quick connect. stopped the leak, and still can use the quick connect if needed. just pop out the male fitting. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You may have been tightening the bracket nuts instead of the fitting itself. To stop that drip, first loosen the bracket nuts (the inside pair). Then tighten the QD fitting to the hose fitting. Then retighten both to the bracket

No, the drip was comming from the inside of the QD. like it had a peice of trash under an O-ring or cut O-ring, but it wasn't. cleaned it out good but still would drip, someone mentioned about using the male fitting and it worked!! take the fitting out and back to dripping. the male fitting was alot cheaper than a new female fitting.
