Hydraulically driven PTO

Is there such a thing as a self contained PTO unit, driven by hydraulics that can be mounted on a tractor? This would for tractors like some older industrial tractors that don't have a PTO, Tractors where the PTO is defunct and parts are unobtainable or just too expensive, or maybe where somebody needs an additional PTO, like on the front of the tractor. I seem to remember seeing some at one time but searching online didn't come up with any thing.

It won't do you much good, but it'll serve to keep you looking. I own an ingersoll, which is all hydraulics. I did find (but did not purchase) a hydraulically powered 1-3/8" 6 spline PTO. It would have require mounting it, which I couldn't solve. That may mean it does not meet your requirement to be "self contained". Good luck in your search

What are you going to drive this hydraulic PTO with? If you have the flow and pressure available all that is required is a hydraulic motor sized to provide 540 RPM based on pump flow available. Depending on tractor could also require a valve for rundown.

Similar to people wanting to convert PTO driven snowblower or rotary mower to hydraulic drive.
