HELLO ALL: I have read this forum for three years, and it has been an invaluable source of information. I'm ready for a new tractor with loader and backhoe, and have some questions that are as yet unresolved (this will be a second tractor - keeping my B-2250. The new machine will be used in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and a primary goal is the most power (digging, etc.) in the least package (tight quarters, banks, etc.). A hydraulic thumb is HIGHLY desirable as primary uses will be clearing, wood handling, rock walls, etc. Can some of you help with comments on the following?
1. Looks like the only pure Kubota hydraulic thumb option is the B-26 (would like a little more loader power, and the fixed full canopy is definitely going to be in the way... anyone ever convert one of these to removable?).
2. The other thumb option that I have found is the WOODS BH-90X. What is the smallest Kubota that you could put one of these on?
I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS AND INPUT... AS THIS WILL BE A BIG PURCHASE FOR SOMEONE NEWLY "RETARDED"!!!
