hydraulic problems

i have a 2020d yanmar that i'm having a problem a problem with the lift. the lift will come up , but it doesn't want to go down. it will bleed down in 10 minutes or so. when i use the tractor and it warms up good it works ok. them when it gets cold same problem. i've change fluid and filter and cleaned the screen. also there is no rate of fall knob on this model and valve is open any help?? thanks , todd

How long have you owned the tractor?

It is entirely possible that the new fluid, filter change and cleaned internal screen are clogged again from surges or normal operation which WILL dislodge debris from the bottom of your reservoir.
More likely:
If the fluid change, filter and filter screen are clean then it may be a problem with the 3PH rock shaft internal hydraulics. Often a simple disassembly, thorough cleaning of the plunger and bore and an '0' ring replacement is all that's necessary to solve your hydraulics problems.

i've had the tractor 3 or 4 years . just use it mainly for food plots. is there an easy check i can do to determine which problem i have . is there a manual that shows an exploded view of the hydraulics? thanks , todd
