Hydraulic PHD / Plnte Head w/ Reverser ?

I searched, but couldn't find anything.

Has anyone built a Hydralic PHD with a reverser, so it can be backed out?

I'll be using it on a Power Trac 1850..so it will operate like a skid steer attachment.

Right now Im building 2 types of phd drives one is an open chain drive with a hydraulic motor and some bearings the other I found a small planetary gear box an motor off and old JD excavator swing. The motor on it was shot so i put another motor with the same splines on it i need to make a few adapters for both of tem.

Man, except for the username I'd say you were from New England. I used one of those hand held ones with my daughter. It nearly flung us ito the next county. The daughter was a competitive swimmer and life guard and is stronger than most boys her age. We had a heck of a time getting it out of one hole. Reverse would be nice. I went back to digging by hand. I was taking out rocks as big as my head. ( Size 7 3/4 )
