Hope someone can help me out. What is the suggested hydraulic oil for Yanmar? (F22D). And excuse my obvious ignorance, where the **** is the reservoir? Thanks . . .

Any universal hydraulic/transmission fluid = to/compatible with JD303 or better, (says on the 5 gal. can), found in any auto parts store, Walmart, K-mart, and, I think, a few drug stores /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. The resorvoir is your transmission. That covers the tranny, rearend and hydraulics. You drain it from the rearend, (lowest point).

I bought it recently at Walmart. I think it is called Universal Tractor Fluid (or something close to that name). It is the Walmart Brand and comes in 1 gallon or 5 gallon. I think it was about $24.00 for the 5 gallon bucket. My suggestion is to buy the 5 gallon. My YM240 held almost 4 gallons when i drained and replaced it. My drain plug was almost directly under the gear shift.
