What is the best way to deal new hydraulic hoses on an old front loader? Mine always seem to leak.

Thanks

What do you mean? I got a new hose made at the auto parts store last week with new fittings. Even without installing new orings there were no leaks. Is the shop making your new hoses not properly crimping the ends? Or do your hoses use band clamps?

You haven't given us quite enough information. Where exactly is the leak? If it's at a threaded connection, what type of connection is it?

What kind of fitting are on the hoses?

NPT, JIC, etc

I'll bet he has NPT threads and after multiple asembly/disasembly they no longer seal.

If it's NPT, I think a threaded pipe sealant with Teflon would work best.
