hydraulic hoses and ticking noise

I'm a newbie. Just bought a 2005 model 790 JD tractor.
Looking at replacing all the flex hydraulic hoses. Some look too long. Would like to get specs on lengths of hoses.
Also, when in low low gear I can hear a "ticking" noise at the rear end. I'm not familiar with names of parts so suggestions on where to get free manuals would be appreciated.

Wonder if the "ticking noise" is that bomb someone placed under the seat? Actually it may be your differential lock or the parts to it. That is one thing I have heard that makes a ticking noise.
Turn hard left in a circle, then try hard left in a circle and see if anything changes with the noise. Also step on the diff lock and see if it engages and disengages like it should.
