Howse Dirt Scoop

I do not plan on buying a FEL for my Kubota L2800 so I settled for a 30" dirt scoop by Howse. It lasted about an hour before it started breaking bolts holding the dump release. Breaks bolts pushing or pulling. It's headed back to the dealer Monday. Any similar experiences with a dirt scoop?

Geometry and design of dirt scoop should be a guide as method of it's use. It can not be used as a dozer, fel and such. I have a 30" King Kutter and I'm happy with. KK is built stronger than Chinees made Howse. I'm careful on how much of abuse it can take, minor digging, transporting crushed rock , soil and compost should be within it's capabilities. I'll make sure I have front weight to help the stability as 2800 is not very large and heavy tractor and about the same size and weight of my Ford 1700

I am thinking I should have gone with King Kutter. however, the Howse manufacturing plant is in Laurel, MS which is about 80 miles from me. They do sell an import and advertise their brand as well as an "import" for sale. I am sure "import" means Chineese. Since I can not find a model number on the one I have my first quesiton to the dealer will be which one did you sell me. On the Howse webiste the ES30 scoop is theirs, and the GES30 is the import, aka Chineese.

Just got my King Kutter 30" scoop home last night and had to try it out. WOW! is all I can say. Maybe, WOW, again. What a fine piece of equipment. Take a little care with it and this one will last forever.
