How to remove rotary cutter from 7510

Ok, this is something of an embaresing question. I've had my 7510 since last summer, it was delivered with the Bush Hog on the 3pt and I've never needed to take it off - until now.

So how the heck do you take it off? Removing the pto shaft was easy, but how do you get the lower arms off the cutter? I loosened the adjustment turnbuckle, but that wouldnt loosen enough to let the arms slide off the sides.

So before I start taking everything apart back there to get it off I thought I'd ask the experts for some help. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a B7510HST and a 4-ft KK brush hog.

You have to completely disconnect the anti-sway links by loosening the turnbuckles until they're free. Also set the hog down on the ground and lower the 3pt completely. This should put the lower 3pt arms in a float position so you can pull them off the pins on the hog.

BTW: I made a pair of dollies for the brush hog to make attaching and detaching easier (see attachment).

Thanks for the tip Flusher. That's pretty much what I ended up doing. I didn't have the turnbuckle attached to the lift arms loosened up enough to get the arms off before.

If it hadn't been pouring down rain (at least for the NW) getting the box blade hooked up would have been a lot more fun - I'm really seeing the potential of those quick attach devices.
