How to Make a Potato

I have a connection to the Idaho Potato Commission, and they showed this video of the giant potato at a conference I attended last week. This is the giant potato that will tour the country for the 75th anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission. It was made by a guy here in Idaho.

When I saw the video I knew there would be some TBNers who would like it. I got permission to share it. It's pretty cool to watch the fabrication process. Enjoy!

I wonder how many accidents that is going to cause? Darn those spudneckers anyway

They said that the guy who designed it hired a boom truck so that he could look at the potato from as high as possible. He wanted to make sure that it looked like a potato from above. They figure that traffic cams and news helicopters will be taking shots of it as it travels through cities.
