How much trailer will I need?

I bought this little Magnatrack a month or so ago, a guy from up the road stopped by, he has a SCUT with a backhoe, he asked me what I bought it for and that it's so small it's useless.. LOL.. I told him anytime he wants to have a ground digging contest to let me know...

This little guy will dig a trench to China..

A backhoe is handy beyond belief.
Particularly...... one that can do REAL work.

I had a tractor backhoe and a real backhoe now. I still used the little backhoe a lot and it was definitely useful. Ok I had one of the biggest tractor backhoes. I think a little tractor backhoe would be close to useless.

That's a very cute little guy! I bet he can dig, for sure, with that bucket.

Now that biggziff's trailer question has been answered and he has his new equipment safely home, I guess we can go ahead and hijack his thread. :laughing: So, what's that hanging off the back of your dozer? Looks like a subsoiler, which I use for shallow trenching. Maybe that's what your neighbor with the SCUT was looking at when he made his comment.

It's a little hydraulic ripper.. Pulls roots and I have ripped some decent sized stumps out with it.. I also have a harrow, plow, potato plow and a seeder.. Pretty cool having down pressure..

Sounds like you've only scratched the surface on acquiring attachments and implements for it! And you'll need a couple of 20 year-olds to do quick change outs for you, so you can keep working like the guy in the video. :laughing:

They are fun to use, I’m getting use to the controls. The thing is amazing.. I got it from a machine shop owner, it had a few short comings on a couple of things, he made things right.. The price was 9 grand new, I offered 4,200 and he took it. 35 hours and runs like new, I like the thing. It has surprising capabilities..
