I've had a 2135 with the 13hp Kohler for several years now. The electric PTO clutch is getting a bit loose, so I've been pricing new ones.
In the meantime, I found a 2166 with the 16hp Kohler which had a brand new PTO clutch. The tractor had been used for spreading salt and the sheet metal foot steps were completely rusted away. However, since it never drove a mower deck, the clutch looks like new. Long story short, I bought it for parts. Will the clutch in fact interchange?
The 2166 has 2500 hours on it, but starts and runs fine. Again, the mower deck is what works an engine hard. Just pulling the salt spreader, it probably didn't have too much load time on the engine. What's the most hours anyone has ever seen on one of these little single cylinder Kohlers?
