HOW MUCH COUNTER WEIGHT DO I NEED?

I might be out of line but to lift pallets of firewood wouldn't the fork attachment on the 3 point work well?

Those would work but the rear 3PH is limited in height of lift. You could move pallets around a yard but not stack them or load and unload trucks that are usually over four feet high to the bed.

True. I was only thinking of moving them around. I have clamp-on forks but realize that with the load so out front it drastically reduces my ability to lift as well as being a strain on the bucket lip. I don't have a SSQA which I think would be necessary for real forklift work.
