Maybe I need to wait for the user list for this. But I was curious. How many veteran members are there? Platinum? Total? etc. It's been a while so I can't remember what was on the user list anymore.

Yep, back in early July, a couple of hundred member records were lost. We had to re-register. Muhammad was pretty good about restoreing our message count, however. You may notice some older messages with "Poster" as the user name - that's actually a bunch of us, all those whose records were lost, the link between our name and the message was lost.
All in all, it was a minor glitch, and maybe even a little fun (although I'm sure it wasn't for Muhammad and crew) - TBN should have tee-shirts, "I survived the server crash of 2003..."

I didn't even know the server crashed. I had seen various mentions about it on the forums, but thought it happened long ago. I didn't relaize it was that recent. I think I started getting involved again in the forums around August and my user data was the same. I must have lucked out. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I saw all those "Poster" thread posts. I always wondered how we had so many unregistered users posting, but now I realize that it was due to the server crash. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif How long was the server down? Do they know what caused the crash?

It crashed twice. I got lost twice. I am found, now, though.

I don't think it was down for more than a few minutes, certainly no more than a few hours. We'd go away, then come back and not be able to log in.
It really wasn't a full server crash, just the hard drive. Here's the thread where Muhammad explains it:
