The original Ford built tractor, commonly described as a Fordson, has steel wheels!
Your 1964 Ford tractor has steel wheels?
No, but the serial tag says Fordson. Fordson tractors were built from 1917 thru 1964.

I think that the tractor you have is called a "Fordson Major".
A very different animal.
The tractors simply refrred to as "Fordsons" were last built in 1928.
Diesel ICE tractors aren’t going anywhere. The battery technology isn’t there and it probably never will be. Diesel fuel is over 13 times more energy efficient than the best lithium ion batteries by volume and over 50 times more efficient by weight. And batteries aren’t sources of energy, they’re storage devices for energy that comes from somewhere else.
I’m not sure why people think that battery technology improves at the same rate as other technologies. It doesn’t. A space efficient and energy dense battery that could match the energy potential of a tank of diesel is the holy grail of science and it hasn’t been invented yet and it probably never will be, unless you want a nuclear powered tractor.
A battery powered tractor that doesn’t get used much may be more applicable than a battery powered car, but when people are dropping tens of thousands of dollars on a machine they want convenience and capability. A diesel tractor can do quick jobs or bush hog a 50 acre field if necessary. With a battery powered tractor you’ll spend more money for less capability and convenience, not happening in the minds of most common sense people.
