How about a \"LINKS\" tab?....

DEALERS STORE LINKS

This would seem like a natural for related links that show up in threads to be inserted on the "LINKS" TAB.

You could start with the Equipment & Tractor links, maybe add popular tool links etc.
You get the idea.

Any thoughts?

I think this website prefers to get advertisers to pay for ads w/links instead of just putting them up for free.

That's a heck of an idea, but, you can see in the posts that every couple of days someone wants a common link that most people already know, so the requested link is posted again and again over time.
Just seems like there's an easier way.
BTW, I don't know of any manufacturers that are paying for the privilage, or they'd be here with a huge ad.

You're right, I'd rather see them (the advertisers pay) than the members pay to support the site.

Or the links that are in the yellow area at the top of the page, just below the Tabs?

My friend, who has an internet business, says that when he gets a hit on his site, he can track the previous website the hit came from. So if Kubota, for example, starts getting traffic from TBN'ers clicking on a free link to Kubota's site, maybe they say " If we're getting all this exposure by doing nothing, maybe we should run an add on TBN to see how much more potential that site has." ?

Just like the tabs at the top-

Yeah, a links tab so popular links are readily available to check equipment, settle "spec arguments," etc. I'm suggesting this more for the manufacturers than dealers, Dave. Have you ever tried to search through pages of threads to find a link that someone posted? This would seem like an ideal place to drop the popular links that members are continually asking for.
Just a thought.
