Homemade Quick Attach Plate

The older plates did not have the holes. All of them were welded.

I brazed it. At the time I could not use my MIG welder because of my heart pacemaker and thought I would try brazing. It is easier than welding with a gas torch on material this thick.

Not to sidetrack, but how is that ticker? You back to welding MIG or just say the heck with it.

I met a guy at a black smith meeting who was told not to weld when he got the pacer. He said "Then I don't want it". The doctors did some research and basically said it was OK, with certain restrictions. I called my pacer company that night (Saturday night, they have good service). They said that their pacer is well shielded and it's OK with restrictions. They even sent me a document with the restrictions. I will not list the restrictions, because your pacer is probably different. DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT CONSULTING YOUR PACER COMPANY AND DOCTOR.
I don't weld a lot, but I have not had any problems while welding.
