So, who will it be - NHL North, or NHL South?

I just read that tickets are selling for 7000.00 a piece for the game.

The patriot in me says north but it's gonna be an edge of the seat night. Can't wait for 3 oclock.

Anyway you look at it, it's a bunch of rich Canadians against a bunch of rich US Americans in a stick fight.:laughing:

Surely what they earn has no significants...right? Most people work their *** off to get to the top of their game and only 1% of millionaires inherited their money! :thumbsup:

Kind of liked it when the olympics wern't full of pro atheletes. Our mens basketball team being an example.

Then again, perhaps that is what made 1980 so special on ice.

Now it seems if the athlete lives and works in one country but his or her parents have citizenship in another country, they can compete for their parents "home" country. Go figure

Did you see the segment on the 1960 US Hockey team that won gold? That was interesting. I think one guy said he picked up his medal and took the bus home.

I am Canadian but I found myself cheering for and hoping Bobby Ryan would do well. Only because he spent three years here in our home town playing junior hockey prior to being called up and we appreciated everything he did while playing for the Owen Sound Attack.

Great game, nail biter at the end, glad Canada was able to pull it off.
