Hinomoto e232 overheating

Tractor fan belt broke. When realized it the tractor was running hot. Observed play in waterpump. Replaced waterpump, hoses, and installed new fan belt. Also replaced the fan with its replacement (original had 5 larger blades vs. six smaller blades on replacement fan) which is shown in the Massey Ferguson 210 (some items between the two tractors are interchangable). Still running hot after about 15 minutes of bushhogging. Any ideas?

If you are SURE the new water pump is actually moving water your thermostat (if you have one) may be stuck in the closed or nearly closed position. You could also try running the tractor with the front pointed uphill to eliminate air bubbles trapped in the block. Hose out or blow out your radiator fins from back to front to eliminate dust which can prevent cooling air flow.

did you top off the coolant after you replaced everything and ran it for a bit?

I have not seen them advertised in a while, but a product call radiator genie was available. It had 2 long reach wands in the kit. 1 for water and 1 for air.
