Gentlemen, I need help on a final decision. I have decided to purchase a woods angle/tilt blade. I have a new Kubota L3130. The question: a 6' or a 7' blade and why? My thinking is 7', but I am a newbie. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

7' is an excellent match, depending on what you plan on doing, you may consider a medium duty blade to last a lifetime...

I got a six foot blade when I bought my L3010 package a couple of winters ago...and have regretted not going for a 7 footer ever since.

It's been pretty well covered in the responses to your two posts. The blade should be long enough to cover your tracks when angled, and perhaps stick out a little to the side so you can "reach" into ditches, along borders, etc. The only reason I can think of for going smaller would be if you expect to be using it a lot in tight quarters where you would have trouble maneuvering with the 7' blade. A 6' with ability to offset the blade may give you the best of both worlds.
