Don't let them just try and give you the rebate

Build one on Jd website take 10%-15% off msrp and go from there then subtract you rebates

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions and all the wonderful advice I received. You were all very helpful. It came down to ease of use and what was easy for me to get in and out of plus the $400 rebate for cash payment from Kubota didn't hurt either and a great price. Now I just have to wait for my new toy to get here. Again thank you for your help and going out of your way to assist me in my decision. The model I chose was the rtv 500. Now in the mean time if I win the lottery I will go back and get the double bench seat deisal model. I will just have to find someone to make custom:D running boards!

I test drove a rtv500 after I had my rtv900 for a while and was impressed. It seemed very easy to drive. Enjoy your new kubota!

Here is a picture of the drivers side hand hold I made from aluminum tubing. The large tubing that goes around the rops is slightly larger than the rops with thin rubber in between the two. I have not had a problem with it moving around when I grab it either.

Great job, ruffdog!! Great looking!
txcwgrlmom, you'll want to plan on getting a trailer hitch insert or two....be aware the regular ones do not work although they are 2 inches square. Typically, the shaft is too long and they bottom out before being able to insert the round pin. Two solutions...cut shaft shorter so pin will fit....or drill another pin hole.

Why not see if your dealer will throw in a hitch with the deal? Will save you some difficulty.

I've found that the rear hitch was lower than I needed for my trailer, thus made a riser that takes a 2 inch insert.

You want the length of the insert you use to be as short as possible because all the tongue weight rests on it and you don't want to bend things...I haven't and have put a lot of weight on it, just saying, best to not stick it way out there.

The shorter rise hitch is used with my small trailer. The very tall hitch is for my wood splitter.

In addition to the multiple rise hitches. I picked up a cheap and cheesy hitch extension for my Rhino from HF ($25?). We used my dual flatbed trailer to haul around the poles and planks for new fence and dock re-build. It kept me from havin' to worry about wacking the trailer stand post if I had to turn a tight corner.

I will be sure and get a hitch too. I have a small garden trailer but I am watching the local adds for something bigger. I have a 16 ft goose neck but I don't see it pulling that. Lol. On my list is a hand hold and a bed mat. I read someone had taken a stall mat from tractor supply and cut it to fit. Also I am ordering a new spotlight since mine bit the dust and a couple of rear view mirrors. I didn't get the grill that goes behind the seat. I have been wondering if I should go ahead and include that option. Let me know what ya'll think. Thank you for all the great ideas! I just love seeing all the creativity.
