help with heater hose connection

i have an 02 lk3054 that i built a cab for (cab project-build it yourself forum) i ordered a heater & valve kit for it but i am not sure what the best way is to tie into the radiator. i cannot find tees for the 1-5/16" radiator hoses.will i have to make my own out of pipe & weld a fitting into it.also does the bottom hose get the shut off valve to the heater.

you need to go into the block with you hoses the radiator temp will not stay the same enough for a heater

If anyone is looking for a radiator hose tee, look up JTR in Google. They sell many different sizes.

Thanks for the info. I did manage to make a tee out of pipe & brass fittings they seem to be working but if they fail i will need to do something different. thanks again.

I just purchased a 1-1/4 inline radiator hose heater for my LK. Seems to fit fine on the bench and 1-1/2 was to big. I hope I don't run into trouble with the 1-1/4 versus the 1-5/16.
