when I log in, I cannot read individual threads. If I click on a thread to read, it loads a blank page. If I log out, I can read everything ok. Whats up with that?

Have you tried clearing cache, cookies and temp files and then a reboot? Cookies can cause some wierd problems sometimes. It's worth a try. Other than that you might try a alternative internet brouser like Mozilla Firefox.

You wouldn't be the first person I heard of having problems with the new IE 7 upgrade. If all else fails download Mozilla Firefox, you will probably even like it better than IE. Most people do.

At home I use Netscape, but here at work my computer automatically upgraded to IE7 and it seems to work fine. I would try clearing out the history and temp internet files folder.

Are you on a computer at work or a library where they block certain sites?

My computer has tried to automatically update to IE 7 through Windows Update, it has failed everytime to complete the update.

My computer has also failed at the automatic upgrade to IE7. I have heard there are are few problems with IE7 anyway. IE6 works fine for me. If you still have problems with IE7 go back to IE6 or a different one.

Do your self a HUGE favor and use FireFox as DieselPower suggested. It's a heck of alot more secure than IE and a nicer browser too.

Just my 2 cents.

I've been using Firefox for the last two or three years and haven't had a problem since I switched from IE. Use Thunderbird for mail as well.

I upgraded to IE7 a month ago and have been having a ton of irritating little problems. I use Firefox at work (and love it) but since I cant get high speed out here in the country, I need a browser with an acelerator to help with the slow speed of dial up. As far as I know the only one that has an acelerator is linked with IE7

I switched to Firefox a few years ago and wouldn't even think of using IE again. Once you get use to it you'll like it and as rmahlert it is more secure than IE.

There is an add on for Firefox called "FasterFox"........works great for me but I'm not on dial up, so your mileage may vary.

Go to the Mozilla Firefox website and download the extension "FasterFox". It is a acelerator for Firefox. Other extension's I suggest are "Adblock" and "NoScript" java blocker. That's the nice thing about Firefox, you can download themes and extensions to customize it and make it like you want.
