hello everyone i have a mf135 stuck in reverse any ideas ?

Do you have any more details for us??

What did it/you do that made it stick in reverse??
Does the shift lever move but nothing happens??
or is the gearshift bound up??
Have you removed the top plate of the transmission to see what could possibly be the cause??

Is the clutch adjusted properly?

Have you tried rocking the tractor back and forth with the engine off while applying pressure to try to change gears?

Have you tried just driving it around in reverse for a bit to see if something frees up?

While I personally have not had to do this procedure, supposedly you can get to the gears that could be bound up through the oil fill hole, with a large screwdriver or pry bar, its the large plug left of shifter. Maybe someone else will chime in on how to do this, have you searched on this site, think I remember see something about that on this site.

My 88...or 85...LOL..I can't remember which it is..anyway...it got stuck the other day too, I just popped off the top plate and put it back to where it needed to be, but I also put some special syn grease around where the shifters are through the plate and a bit around the blocks that actually shift the gears..nto a whole bunch that would contaminate the trans oil...but enough to stick to the moving parts and make everything work a whole lot better...mine was pretty dry up top and it shifts smother now
