O.K. guys, I have the opportunity to purchase a new Kubota L3410HST tractor with an LA463FL quik detach loader. From what I understand this tractor has not been made since 2003 or 2004. Is this a good tractor/loader combo. And what would be a really good price to pay for it. It still qualifies as a new tractor and Kubota has some uureal incentives, plus 36 month 0%. Please advise because I would like to make this purchase if it is a good enuf deal. BTW, excellent forum you have.

Just use the forum search tool. Click on Search and type L3410HST as the search term. I just tried it and came up with over a dozen threads. If you look through these old threads it should answer your questions.

Also, let us know what your intended use for the tractor will be. Tell us what kind of implements you plan to use, your general location, how many acres you have, etc. That'll help determine if that is the best tractor for your needs. It's not a good deal if you buy the tractor and it doesn't do what you need it to do, no matter what the price!

Thanks Chuck, as far as usage, I own almost 4 acres, mostly wooded. I will be bushhogging about 2 acres, maintaining a 1200' long gravel drive, and basic general usage. Later I might add an backhoe option, just to play around with. I also will use it at my hunting camp planting food plots and maintaining roads.

That should be more than enough tractor for your needs. As far as to whether or not it's a deal or not. . .I can't comment.

That sounds like an EXCELLENT deal! You did say "new". I'm assuming almost no hours. If that's the case my gut feeling, without any true data, is that is a great deal!

Chuck, it is a brand new tractor. The dealer is a cousin to a really good friend of mine. I called him looking for a good used tractor and he told me he had this one left over. It still has the full factory warranty, plus about 2600.00 in Kubuta incentives because it is an older model, Plus it qualifies for the Kubota 36 month 0% financing. I just wanted to be sure, this is mt first tractor purchase. Thanks for all of your help.
