Help... I'm being invaded.

Help... I\'m being invaded.

All of a sudden my SpyWare blocker is going nuts when I access TBN. (Double Click SpyWare) I cannot read the messages unless I allow Double Click to invade my PC.

Is anyone else having this problem? It just started today.

I have not observed any changes in TBN behavior like that. I suspect it is specific to your machine or there would be a flurry of messages here.

We're currently serving a campaign through double click for John Deere. If you want to opt-out of the doubleclick cookie, click here. I have mine allowed because the purpose of the cookie is to track your response to the ads that are served.

Is that the source of those super-annoying John Deere ads that take over the right side of the screen, push the TBN stuff to the left, and have bright-colored animation that keeps intruding on my reading pleasure? It wouldn't be so bad to see them once in a while, but every time I move from the main forum page to one of the sub pages, the screen changes and the JD ad is doubled -- once at the top, where I can scroll it away, and then down the right side of my screen. I got so darned annoyed at the ads today, I vowed to never buy anything from John Deere.

If you turn active scripting off, the JD ads go away. Of course so do a lot of other ads on TBN which is too bad. I like looking at the ads sometimes. Pop-ups require active scripting too. I turn active scripting back on once in a while to see what's new.

Don the ads do tend to get ones attention, but that what the're designed to do I reckon. I'm also in agreement that they are a bit overdone.

Maybe I'll just sell my New Holland and go buy Green. NOT!

I tried to "op-out" but the only way that I can do that is by turning cookies on. If you have cookies turned off it blocks you from reading any of the TBN posts.

BTW... I am using XP Pro (SP2) and MS IE. The latest revision of both. I am using SpyBot to block spy software.
