It's either an 8n Ford or a Ferguson with half track conversion :confused:

Good call, and thanks for link to the pix. I wonder how rare that track option was.

Rare enough..... They were offered to fit Ford N's, Fergusons, and a number of other tractors of the day. I've seen one John Deere B with ARPS tracks. They even went to the south pole on Fergusons equipped with ARPS half tracks.

I think my father has at least 2 sets of those arps tracks laying around. We never put them on any of the N's, not sure why other than he never felt we needed them. I, on the other hand, always wanted a set on at least one of them so I could go play.:D

I know a couple people who had them. You needed to keep you brakes good as that was primarily how you turned. I'll check with my father and see if he still has those tracks, that would be a neat project someday.
