help guages out

i've been using my dads kubota 2350, and this past weekend the fuel guage, and temp guage went out. also the ignition key no longer turns it off, you have to pull the kill switch now. I noticed this after driving over a piece of barbed wire. any ideas what it did. i looked underneath and i don't see anything other than the tail light not being plugged in, only the emergency flashers, but i don't see where the taillight wire would plug into. also i noticed some paint missing on the frame, where would be a good place to get some orange paint. thanks in advance.

Sounds like a fuse blew or a connection came loose. You can get Kubota orange spray paint at any dealer - you probably want Bright Orange II.

You may also want to trace all the wiring slowly to check for a break in the insulation,which could be causing a dead short.
