Hi, My name is Thomas and I will reply to Trimmer also... I live in Wisconsin and had my own Tree bus in AZ for 12 years before moving to WI 15 yrs ago, thus WITrimmer - out of **** into Heaven but that is another story... I have a John Deere 300 from 1974 and the reason I'm here is I would like to get an attachment for it, you have probably already guesssed by now ~~~Snow~~~~ Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would rather not spent a lot for it. Just landed a new job and had my eyes on a Masey Ferguson front loader possibly this summer. I only have 2.7 acres so a compact 4x4 would be perfect for putting the snow right where you want it, landscaping and cleaning things up... need to get to work on the broken snow blower for now and check back later... There are a quite a few JD Snowblowers on Craigslist in your area - many seem to be single stage for that vintage and $400-800+.

You may be better off getting a used 28-30" walk behind for now and saving up for compact tractor and snowblower setup.
