I grew up green and red but I can't afford the green so I got red Massey Ferguson not IH Case love my little GC 1705 it's a good little work horse.

I grew up ALL International Harvester (still have a bunch, check my sig!) and I needed something that would "blend in" LOL!!

I was a city boy till 1978 when I decided I needed some elbow room and "got outta town". Co worker of mine was a farm boy from N. Oklahoma. Had a old Farmall Super A or B somewhere around there, 4 cyl, magneto, 25 hp, side positoned (offset drive line) seat for cultivating that the family used on their farm. So we made a weekend trip of it and drove from Dallas up there, got it in the back of a bobtail Red Ball Motor Freight truck that he had and brought her home. Cost me $450 and a fun filled weekend. While up there we went over to a buddy of his place and got invited to his showing off his new natural gas well.

He had an inch and a half diameter pipe sticking out of the ground with an ell pointing away from us, a 0-5000 psi pressure gauge and a control valve. He opened the valve all the way and at full flow from that pipe, the gauge sat steady right at 3000 psi. The roar was deafening and in no time flat the pipe started freezing up. Quite an experience. He said that once they get pipe laid to it he was going to be a rich man. I'm sure he was to be.

So my first was red too. Second was a '74 IH 464 45 hp gasser I bought in '79. That was my last 2 red ones till the Bransons......well thinking back I had a Massey 35 deluxe gasser and regular 35 with a Perkins 3 cyl diesel that I really liked. They were sorta red. The rest were blue and green.
