Hello all

I've been eyeballing this site for quite a while as I try to determine what tractor and impliments will best fit my needs - so I finally signed up! I've found some very good advice on these pages in the past months. I've also noted people are very proud of whatever brand tractor they happen to own and get quite fired up with discussing the merits of each tractor company.

I'm in the military, currently stationed in Hawaii. I know, its rough! We'll move back to our small farmette in southern IL next summer and be purchasing a tractor soon after we arrive. By then I hope to have my needs defined and know what I'm looking for. I look forward to learning more.

Welcome and thank you for your military service. I don't care if you are in Hawaii, we need military there too (Dec 7th 1941). For a tractor, new or used, I would suggest looking at what the best dealers are in your area. Eventually you will need parts and/or support. Then I would consider brand. That is just my 2 cents.
