Hello people I am new to TBN I have a small hobby/side business working on lawn and snow equipment. I also belong to The Diesel Stop forum and have found it to be very helpful when fixing my truck. I am sure I will find all of you to be as helpful and I hope I maybe helpful too. I am working on my neighbor's
Cub Cadet 1862 and the steering turns farther to the Right than left, there is a little play in the center pivot pin but I don't think its enough to cause this much differance. any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Kevin

Kevin,

The steering is controlled by a proportioning valve driving a cylinder. Ther is a good chance the valve is not balanced. If you remove one end of the cylinder (Left side of tractor), I'm betteing the travel will be closer to equal.

Good Luck, you can go to "Ihregistry.com" for manuals.

Curt,
Thank you for the info. I noticed the rod doesn't retract all the way into the cylinder, it looks like its been a while the rod it pitted.I'll check out the manual link.

Thank you again Kevin
