Now that the heatwave is over here in the Northeast, I've been able to get back to work, getting ready for the cold wave. The endless cycle of "tractoring." I can't imagine how you southern gentlemen can endure the heat day after day. It must really wear on you.

What heat? hasn't even cracked 100 this year. Just endless rain in the last month.

This has been the coldest summer I can remember.

Been beautiful in Washington State. Been in the 70's and 80's. No rain since June and just a tad dry but pretty much typical summer here.

Well, here in the mountains, 85 is a heat wave. We average 80 in summer, 25 in winter. At any rate, it's good working weather right now. I have 4 cords of free wood to split and stack.

The older I get the less I can tolerate the heat and humidity of the summer months here in Florida. At 65 I find that noon, or before, is the knockoff time for me now.

It was miserably hot there for a few weeks, thank goodness the heat got chased off by the rain.

I was working on the tractor anyway. The amount of iced tea and dirty workshirts I went thru was amazing.
