Haying Pictures . . .

With the weather finally starting to become more enjoyable and bearable for that matter and finally being able to get some seed, fertilizer, etc. spread I am starting to get spring/summer fever. I was online looking at some haying pictures and found some pretty neat ones. I was REALLY impressed with these guys operation. I can't imagine the money that goes into some of these setups.

Not yet, I am still going through them as we speak. I am simply in awe. They get better the further I get into them. This is good stuff. One question I do have, are those the OEM tires on that JD 7630, or are they an cost option? They look enourmously wide versus the 7630's listed for sale on Tractorhouse.

They look like a standard tire choice. If you are in a row crop area you most likely will see narrower tire options on the tractors.

Ok, I am assuming I was seeing a row crop set up as they were very narrow. That said, I REALLY like these BIG wide AG tires . . . until I have to replace them.

I can never tell if those TV's are going forward or backwards.

They sure got some big Hosses to put up hay with --- but workin' with those big cubes and big rounds; ya' gotta have some heft to your machine!

Sure does make me wish for some dirt --- any dirt will do at this point!!

They were using tractors bigger then needed on a lot of the equipment because they had that size tractors available to use. Two examples are the Ford 7710 on the wheel rake and TV145 on small square baler.

Mark, I will look for the pic if I can't find it I will ask Josh for a copy and post it for you.

As far as HP requirements I would agree, if you that's what you have use it. I would assume the big square baler takes quite a bit of hp though.

Their 7710 is also a II (I forgot to write it down). This is the first year they did hay so they were using the tractors they had available and learning as they go.
