Whoa thats wet.
I think I saw you’re getting more rain?
We got some light showers today. I mowed anyway.

No man ever made a bale of hay waiting.

Your not kidding. Our month and half total is 8.31 inches. Lots of corn not planted. Corn that was planted during a dry spell a month ago or more looks like corn that was planted couple weeks ago. All of it is just up, yellow, sitting and waiting for good weather. Going to work on baleage. Can't get 3 days together of weather to make dry hay. A lot of people won't mow in the rain. I have no problem doing that. Gets that head start. Even if it is on off drizzle all day it is still surprising how much it dries when you think it shouldn't have.

Where do you get that data from? I use the “live” weather maps.

BTW: It’s 57 degrees here this morning. Global warming my ass.

Break it down to my area with this

We have no choice now. Too many acres to wait. I mowed yesterday and it was drizzling.
Probably be mowing in light rain or showers tomorrow, too.

Drizzled yesterday. Really glad I didn't mow the field I was planning on. It didn't really dry and made wet heavy muddy bales. But it is off I guess. Rain today later.
