Have any Ideas?

Hi. First off I have a Volvo EC-25 mini excavator. I would like to build an attachment for it that would allow me to use both a 3pt attachment (ie...rake or box blade) and a skid steer attachment (rake or bucket). Any ideas or links to pictures of these would be much appreciated.

Can you modify the blade or blade mounts to somehow accept the three point hitch? Once you get the 3 point hitch figured out there are a number of threads here on TBN dealing with converting a 3 point to a skid steer type attachment.

The Machine looks like this and I have a bunch of attachments for the tractor. I just wanted to be able to put the plow or box blade on this to rip or smooth the ground out. All I have to do is figure out a coupler from the bucket mounting point on the excavator to a Cat. II 3pt hitch.

No one has ideas?
I was thinking something like a bucket side coupler welded to a 3pt quick hitch type setup?
I get all sorts of great ideas i just can't put them on paper nor do i remember anything about cad.

Hard to get one thing to do it all. Looks to me like you would have to have a pin-on SS/QA plate or have a pin-on 3PH adapter. If you have a SS/QA plate to a 3PH adapter you have created some distance away from your pins before ultimately the attachment AND you have added perhaps unnecessary weight. Besides that, the side to side movement of the excavator may put excess stress on the attachment and the pins. Most tractor attachments are designed for a linear point of attack, something may give if used in a different plane of attack. JMHO.
