To those of you who have to license you trailers thats terrible. Glad i live in SC and we dont have to do this.

Glad I live in Missouri--we may have to license trailers but I only pay $58.00 per year in real estate taxes on 50 acres.

Personally, I would not let the "getting the tractor home" tail wag the trailer purchase dog.

With the way things are today I'd expect a dealer (asuming new tractor purchase) would happily deliver, if not would expect you can find one that will while matching the price.

If you have a need or will have a need for a trailer post purchase, then this is also a great time to buy, if dealer sells those as well go for deep discount as package deal.

If you think you might have a need and the likelihood is less than 50%, wait till the need arises and get trailer then.

Nothing worse than purchasing a trailer, registering a trailer and it sitting and rotting.
