Sorry didn't mean to make it appear I was questionning you.
I just moved from AZ to GA and went to HF website but must have only signed up for the printed catalog and on-line ordering.
Gotta get that phone number and give it a shot.
Every time I purchase something, 31 days later it goes on sale.
Maybe this time I'll beat the system.

Can you buy these in the stores or only on line? I have a 15% off coupon too but it says its only good at retail stores.

afish, read that coupon again, I think it said something about "in stock" at the store, however I think you can use it online, just to be sure call in your order.

Super Chief.........where is Cadwell? If it is anywhere near I-575 there is a nice retail store at the Bells Ferry Rd exit.

Cadwell is in Middle Georgia, there is a store in Macon about 50 mi from here.
The ad listed is for an "in store" purchase sale and ends on the 25th.
I called the store in Macon for availability, they have a couple.
So, yes this is in the store.

HF has two numbers for the Quick Hitch. 97214 was the 27 1/2" inside clearance version and 93691 was the 26 1/2" IC version. When I went to store last week (with 15% off coupon), they offer the 97214 but it is just the 93691 version with stickers over the number. Even the instruction manual has stickers all over it. Evidently, the 27 1/2" version is no longer available. It didn't match specs anyway so that's probably the reason.

Get your 15% off coupon below. When the page comes up, just print the coupon. It's good to 8/27.

Yep stopped in today and picked one up. They had it in stock but had to ask someone because they didnt have one in the showroom. Said 27.5" on the box it better be or they will get it right back. Not sure if you have those entertainment books in your area but they have 3 coupons in them for harbor freight.

I just got the last one at my local harbor freight store and used the 15% off coupon. Now just have to take the brush hog off th tractor and put the quick hitch on and see how it works.

I ordered mine last week, the 27 1/2 inch one, paid $89.99 and also bought the adapter, phoned in the order to get the adapter.
Guys says both are back ordered 10-20 days, but I'll get them when
available. No mention of sale price, and I don't have a store near me, so if this is just at the retail stores won't do me any good.

Had to order mine using the phone number, and got the adapter bracket...can you get the adpater bracket in store?
Haven't hooked mine up to the tractor just yet.

As mentioned in a post above, be sure to get the #97214. It has the ASAE S217.12 standard dimensions (27"w x 15"h). The actual width of the HF #97214 is 27 1/2" which gives you a 1/4" tolerance on each side. The other model # is an inch short on the width. Are there implements built that way on purpose or is that a Chinese standard? The HF store clerks think the 2 model #'s are physically the same so don't let them talk you out of the #97214. If in doubt, measure it before you leave the store just in case someone re-boxed a non-standard hitch into the #97214 box. The last clerk I talked to said they (HF) get alot of these hitches returned. My guess is they are the other model #.
I would also like the # for the adapter. Thanks.
