Today to my surprise I received a paper flyer for HF.I found a few items I wanted and proceeded to the web site to order.I went to the search box and entered the stock number, and up comes the item. It of course has the full price and I had to enter the coupon number separate, and then it would discount the amount, so the price was what was in the flyer,.
I found a couple things out.
One is that I also looked at an item they had in the ''clearance' absolute low price category. OK then the same item at ''regular'' price int he catalog was 10 dollars cheaper. HMMM
I then found a spot where it showed the retail flyer on the PC that I received in the mail, and found this item.
Brake Bleeder & Brake Bleeder Vacuum Pump Kit
24 and change. HMM the retail flyer from the mail it was 16.99.
So put it in the cart it showed the 24..... so then entered the coupon flyer code and the price dropped down to 16 dollars.
Also the split leather gloves in the paper flyer were .99 yet the same flyer thats duplicated in the site had them for 1.49.
I understand their prices are all over the place.. But even now with this ''new'' system I find I have to work for the best deal lol
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I am searching for items to hopefully make the tools that DONT suck lol

Also this
http://www.harborfreight.com/retail-flyer can be had if you enter the code 98708068
brings it to under 20 dollars....amazing...

No real difference than when Walmart remodels their stores for no apparent reason. It gets you to walk through all their isles and as most people will impulse buy will increase there revenue. With what you said it appears that they're trying to get you to go over they're entire web site and do other searches etc.

I haven't ordered anything from there on-line, so I don't have any experience in that regard. However, I was told by my local HF manager during a visit to said store that they have 3 prices (online; flyer; and in-store) and that they usually do not agree. The store does not, and will not, automatically honor any on-line or flyer pricing. If you want the flyer price in-store, you need to bring that flyer with you.

I stopped by a Harbor Freight store this morning and they had a big banner above the front door advertising a "Parking Lot Sale" second Saturday of next month. I didn't ask any questions, but might remember to go by and see what it looks like.

Oh also be aware that the discount on the online order form is for one item the others if you buy more than one rings the regular price.. (fine print)
Almost missed that one..

Speaking of HF mysteries, I hadn't received a paper flyer in the mail for several months. I heard that they'd quit sending them out in favor of on-line advertising, but don't know if that's true or not.

Anyway, I got a paper flyer in the mail this week, which I like.

I get fliers in snail mail and e-mail. I generally won't buy anything from them unless I have a coupon or it's discounted because they have a new version. That's how I got my impact sockets super cheap.

Yes i used to get catalogs every week it seemed, now its down to one newsprint flyer,They really make you chase numbers and earn the coupon money off.lol I have been working on an order now for two days..
Just irritated when i looked and saw that of the three rolls of tape, only one took the coupon price. The other two were at full price.I cant email because I dont use outlook mail (I use yahoo.com) Kind of funny ill ahve to phone them and aks for the email address.
One thing i wan tto guy is an air tool. And there are 9 reviews. 7 of them are bad, nut sounds like no oil in the tool...One person bought one and then returned twice before he figured to put oil in it...Id think they would make the oil more of a point in the directions..

There's a relatively new store in Southern NH. I go there with coupons in hand, I need to touch the item I'm buying. I have a few air tools from them, a small jig saw (it's kinda lame), a cutoff wheel (works well but uses allot of air) and a tire filler. I wouldn't buy an impact gun from them, I need that to be stronger than the tools they sell. I did buy one form Northern for around $120 and it's been great.
