good day
I'm having a problem with my well at the camp when i use the pitcher pump. This well was put in last summer 100 feet deep.Water is 32 feet from the top with 60 feet of casing.I have a submerible for when I use the generator witch is only when I fill the reserve tank on the roof.Other than that I use the deep well pitcher pump.My problem is when I use the submergible that is 75 feet down the water is clear but when I use the picher pump the water tastes like iron and turns brown after about five gallons or so.I called the well people they have no clue how to fix .Do you people have any ideas how to fix it.As I said in other post my camp is in the middle of 900 acres with no power lines.I think the bottom of the pitcher pump is still in the casing.Does this need to be below the casing ?
