I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. I have about 27 acres, but only 4 acres are cleared. Currently, I'd use it mostly for soil work and brush clean up, but down the line I could see using it for snow removal. The 107 can run most of the same implements other the stump grinder, and I could see the need to be grinding as well (but some of the stumps would be on slopes and, having seen the vids, I wonder if the machine would require too much human muscle for that). I like the transport speed on the 107 as two of my cleared areas are spaced a bit apart and the cheaper price, but I am concerned that I am going to know s the power down the road.

if you're not sure, the 110 is more future proof because it can run a few more implements. but if you're pretty sure the 107 is good enough, why not get that. my 10hp bcs 737 is not even quite as powerful as 107 and I haven't had any problems with my mowing and soilworking needs.

I can't say anything about those two but can say something about doing stumps.

I would not consider using any pedestrian stump grinder on slopes, they're tough to handle and dangerous, even for most experienced users.
Your thoughts are right, it means plain muscle power. Stump grinding means continuous sweeps left and right, always balancing the wheel above the stump to avoid too deep bites in the wood. Then they built up debris in front of the wheels, which blocks sweeping them.
Except you're doing a handful stumps each year up to 15" on flat ground, I would not consider any pedestrian grinder. They're pure self sadism . Trust me, I'm doing several thousands a year and my pedestrian grinder doesn't catch dust for no reason.

My landlord grind stumps with a Bobcat skidsteer attachment, in a day we take down 40 year old boxelders, next day you'd never know they were there! The small stump grinders are relatively slow, from watching youtube vids. Depends on how many trees you wanna do.
