JD 955
I've got a JD955 with a front-mounted snowblower. After I've done even a modest amount of snowblowing, my front grill is covered with snow, especially in the slots. I've looked inside the grill area and melted snow seems to be accumulating around the battery. It's still early in the season. Should I consider fashioning some kind of partial grill cover ("bra") or would this impede some function? Any ideas about what to use for material or if already manufactured? Thanks!

Bradey,
I'm not sure I would cover the grill, for you will limt the air intake.

Maybe some sort of a shield attach on the blower might help the snow from drifting into grill area.

There a gentleman w/ a JD 318 that install a plexiglass shield on his blower, and seems to work fine when blowing fine snow when its windy conditions.
