Hi all, new guy here. as you can tell by my handle I own an old 8N Ford tractor. also have a craftsman GT5000 garden tractor and various other machines. Moved to the south 3 1/2 years ago from California and have no regrets. sold at the top of the market and bought 34 acres here. Retired from a good job at a National Lab at 50 years old and we are living the good life in rural TN. Looking forward to learning from y'all!

East TN is a wonderful place to live/retire.
I'm a little to the North of you in Oakdale, TN. I work at a local national lab and am closing in on 50 myself but still a long way from retirement.

Yeah if I lived a little closer to Oakridge I might consider trying to get a job there, but in the mean time I got enough mowing to keep me busy!
